Our History
In 2018, Dr. M. A. Irfan, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), founded CIBEA as a Technology Development Fund (TDF)- project at the University of Engineering and Technology in Peshawar. After being funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for two years, CIBEA was registered in 2019 as a partnership firm under the Association of Persons category (by the name of Center of Industrial and Building Energy Audits).
In its continued pursuit of excellence and expansion, CIBEA has successfully completed its registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), under the name “Center for Industrial and Building Energy Assessments” on August 09, 2023.
Through the combined efforts of the company’s leadership and support staff, and their expertise and knowledge, CIBEA, as an emerging organization, was able to acquire both national and international clients such as OPM, UNDP, UNIDO, Coca-Cola and Unilever.
